May I Join?

Yori leaned back and forth on the balls of her feet as she waited for the Yamikage. 'I hope I can join...' she ponders in her mind with a hopeful glint in her eyes.

Midori approched the girl, with a skeptical look.
"Ehmm....Hello..?"

She quickly turns her head when she sees Midori standing behind her with a skeptical look plastered on her face. "Yes, Yamikage-sama, I came here to ask you if I could be placed on your squad?" she asked, bowing briefly.

Midori blinked, shocked that she had gotten a request for joining her squad. She wasn't the friendliest of kages.....
"Y-you want to join?...Hmmm...okay...but first...a quick display of your abilities?" Midori continued to stand on her spot and look at the girl.
"Give Midori your name...and use one of your powers against her, so she can see..."

She inwardly smiled but kept her composure, she couldn't afford to screw up in front of her if she wanted to be on her squad. "Name's Yori Yuhi..." she stated slowly beginning to dissolve into flower petals. The flower petals slowly began to circle Midori's body, picking up speed before they began to slowly consume her body.

Midori smirked and closed her eyes, allowing the petals to consume her completely, windering what would happen if she were to be fully covered...
"Interesting, girlie~...Genjutsu..."

Once she was completely covered, the scenery around her slowly began to change and was recreated into a dark forest. Yori had binded Midori to a tree, the branches quickly growing at her feet and binding her tightly. She slowly appeared from the tree, holding a kunai out on the side of her neck pressing gently onto it.

Midori grinned evilly as she was completely cast into the genjutsu.
"Ahh...no horrible images of death? Darn...However...." With a snap of her fingers, Yori was bound by the tree, and Midori was holding the kunai to her neck.
"Yori will find genjutsu is HIGHLY ineffective against Midori, however..." With another snap of her fingers, they were back in the room, facing each other, her arms still folded across her chest.
"Not exactly everyone is a master of illusions like Midori... You are...of course, on the team. Welcome...Yori."

She blinked before she smiled and bowed, extremely greatful. "Thank you...I promise I won't let you down maam." she said with a determined grin.
