Sparring...

Nariko appeared on the sparring field. "Majesty," she said, and the cat morphed into its scythe form. She tapped her foot on the ground, twirling the scythe as she waited for Kaito.

Kaito appeared in front of Nariko, smiling. "So... you ready?"

Nariko nodded, still twirling her scythe and grinning at Kaito. Then, without warning, she ran at Kaito, swinging the scythe at him and jumping into the air. "Nairko flash!" she cried, and a great force tore through the air.

He was knocked off his feet by the force of Nariko's attack, but Kaito jumped up again quickly, unsheathing three of his throwing knives and sending them spiraling toward his opponent.

Nariko saw the knives flashing through the air. "Nariko shield!" she shouted. The knives met the force of the shield and clattered to the ground. She stepped toward Kaito, twirling and swinging her scythe at him.

Kaito ducked as Nariko's scythe swung over his head, and straightened up. He closed his eyes for a moment, making a deep crater appear in the ground where Nariko was standing.

Nariko blinked as the ground under her feet sunk. "Eh...?" She jumped a few inches into the air, sinking her scythe into the wall of the crater and using momentum to spring up. "Now my scythe's stuck, but... Nariko flash!" she shouted with more force than the first time.

This time Kaito was thrown backwards against a tree. He splayed his hands out in front of him, twitching his fingers slightly. Pebbles rose up off the ground and hurtled toward Nariko.

Nariko's eyes widened as she saw the rocks coming at her. She shielded herself again and then turned and sprinted back to the crater, dislodging her scythe from the inside wall.

Kaito took the opportunity to - while Nariko's back was turned - run up behind her, putting one arm firmly around her waist and holding one of his throwing knives up to her throat.

Nariko sighed and slipped out of Kaito's grip, blushing slightly. "I'm dead, I guess." Majesty returned to his cat form, running up Nariko's arm and resting on her shoulder. "See you around!" Nariko told Kaito before vanishing.
