Waiting to be ranked

Nariko held a meowing Majesty up to her face, frowning at the cat. "I'll feed you... later." She told it. She leaned back against a tree, waiting for someone to come and rank her.

Lucia walked toward the girl with the cat.
"Cute kitty."
Lucia held out her finger for the cat to sniff.

Nariko smiled. "His name is Majesty. He'd thank you, if he had any manners." Majesty licked the Hikage's hand curiously - Nariko made a soft tsk-ing noise, scolding the cat.
"I'm here to be ranked, if you can spare the time," she said, looking back up at Lucida.

I pet Majesty.
"Sure I'll rank you. All you gotta do is hit me."
I say not taking my eyes off Majesty.

Nariko nodded. "Nariko shield!" she shouted, powering up a strong shield around herself. Majesty ran down her arm, clinging to her hand, claws drawing blood from Nariko's fingers. The cat morphed into its scythe form and Nariko raised the scythe above her head. "Nariko flash!" she cried, and a force emanated from the scythe, tearing the nearest trees out of the ground and sending them toppling over.

I flashed backwards so that tree fell infront of me.

Nariko's eyes narrowed. "Nariko flash!" She shouted again, intending for the tree to fly backwards and knock Lucida off her feet. She jumped into the air, flipping once and landing behind Lucida, cornering her and putting her scythe up to her throat.

I flash into the sky.
