Re: Korean Barbeque
She snorted, trying to keep in her laughter but failed after a few seconds. "A-Alright, so maybe the first idea wasn't very good." she said between giggles.
"O-Okay...how about Gochujang Wrap, that's like the crucial ingredient right?" she suddenly said, once she was done with her laughing fit.

Re: Korean Barbeque
I burst out laughing with her, and continued to laugh even after she stopped. Apparently, I thought everything was funny.
I shook my head. "No... That won't do. They're all crucial ingredients." I thought for a moment. "Let's try to think of names without the names of the ingredients in it."

"Yeah," she snickered under her breath. "That's probably a better idea, it's just so unique, it's hard to come up with a name for it that'll fit it. Gotta be something unique..." she agreed with a nod.

"Yea..." I said, eying a piece of galbi. I was pretty full, but I didn't mind a last bite. I took up my chopsticks, picked up the meat, and put it in my mouth.
I put the meat off to the side before I spoke. "Got any better names?" I began to chew the meat, enjoying its juicy flavors.

"Still thinking on it... the lettuce is green so we could call it Midori...something." she pondered, tapping her chin with her chopsticks. "What do you think?" she asked.

Re: Korean Barbeque
I blinked at the word "Midori." Immediately I thought of the mysterious Yamikage.
"Midori means... green?" I asked Yori Unni, looking at her quizzically.

"Yup, I know weird right? When I found out what that meant the first time, the first thing to pop into my mind was Midori-sensei." she explained to her.
"So you got any other ideas?" she asked. She then decided to eat a little of the rice and have some water.

(Oh, shoot. I have to eat out today. Sorry for the late warning, Unni. Bye!)
"Oh, really? I actually thought of Yamikage-sama, too!" I marveled at this bit of information for a moment.
"Umm... The "Midori" part sounds like a really good idea. How about... since it's spicy and all, something like 'Midori Bomb' or something? Sounds kind of lame, though. I think we can do better than that."

(*laughs* It's alright Imouto-chan, I'll seeya in a bit. ^^)
"Yeah," she giggled. "I think we could do much better than that. Okay then...Midori...Karasugiru? It means spicy, though I'm not too sure about that one, what do you think?" she asks.

Re: Korean Barbeque
"Hmm... Actually," I said, tapping a finger on my chin, "I was thinking 'Midori 폭탄 (pok-tahn or poktan)' sounds pretty good. 'Poktan' actually means 'bomb' in Korean, and 'Midori Poktan' sounds so much better than 'Midori Bomb.' Since we're using the Japanese word 'midori,' I figured we should also use a Korean word, because we're living in a Japanese village, and this," I said, wrapping up another lettuce wrap that we were trying so hard to name, "is Korean food."
"Do you think that sounds okay?" I asked, before starting to eat the lettuce wrap.

"Midori Poktan...yeah I like that Imouto-chan. It has a certain ring to it." she agreed with a smile. She started making herself a lettuce wrap before taking a small bite in delight.

Re: Korean Barbeque
(Chemistry is such a pain! ToT You already took chemistry before, right?)
I grinned happily.
"Okay, then, 'Midori Poktan' it is!" I exclaimed, unusually happy about giving the food a name. I drank the last of my nok-cha and set down the cup.

(Hm, I might have, but I don't really remember. Science wasn't really my thing. If I didn't, it's because it was optional to take it. ^^;;)
She let out a small sigh in content, tilting her head back on the headrest of her chair. "That sure was delicious. Hey, Imouto-chan, do you think your in the mood to train for a little bit? Not a sparring match, just sharpening our skills by perfecting our jutsu. I think it'll do me some good since there's a few new jutsu I plan to learn as a jounin."

Re: Korean Barbeque
(An option?! Lucky you! T_T)
"Oh, training?" I patted my stomach. "Okay! Some jutsu practice might be good to digest with. Besides, I've still got to work on that Flow technique that I was doing earlier." I made a face as I retrieved my beret from the back of my chair and put it on neatly on my head. "And I have to work on my genjutsu," I added, smiling.

(Hehe, did you get a lot of Chemistry hw or something?)
"Well, I may not be a genjutsu master like Midori-sensei or Lucia-sensei, but I could give you a couple of tips to help you with genjutsu if you'd like once we reach the training field." she offered with a small smile.

(*nods frantically* Like you wouldn't believe! I'm swamped! And I've got AP stuff, too! ToT)
"Okay, that'd be great! I need all the help I can get!" I smiled.

Re: Korean Barbeque
(Man, that really sucks. Hope you manage to get it all done. Btw, I'll make a new post for our training. ^^)
"Alright then, to the training grounds!" she grinned. "Oh yeah, we gotta pay up for the meal first." she suddenly realized, pulling out her wallet from her back pocket.

"Oh, right..." I said, feeling a bit guilty. I promised that I'd pay next time, but...

Re: Korean Barbeque
(Oh, you'll see the name. I can change it if it's too embarrasing. It was the first thing that popped into my mind. ^^;)
She noticed a tinge of guilt in Aki's expression, so she placed her hands on both her shoulders and smiled down at her. "As your Unni, I'm expected to pay the meal, but if you'd like, I'll let you pay the next one." she gave her a wink.

(Haa, I saw it. xD It's okay, lol!)
Startled out of my thoughts, I blinked up at Yori Unni. But soon, a grin flashed on my face.
"Deal!" I said and turned with her to go to the training field.

"Alright, let's go!" she grinned, slamming down some money on the table for emphasis before walking out the restaurant with Aki, heading for the training grounds.
